You should have received your promos by now!
7 Wonders tutorial now available - and the last chance to grab some of the free tutorials!
7 Wonders is a true modern classic and the recently released second edition comes with a new and shiny Dized tutorial! The tutorial is for the new edition for the game, but you can use it with the original edition as well.
This weekend will be a great opportunity to learn to play 7 Wonders, so go download the tutorial right now on the Dized app for free, and tell your friends to do the same! We would also appreciate any feedback on this new tutorial at [email protected]
And for the upcoming tutorials during the next few weeks, we can already name a few: Fluxx, Fidget Factory, Potion Explosion and Munchkin (pending publisher approval, of course).
And as a reminder that some of the offers are coming to an end, so remember to activate all the free tutorials to your account now, as they are free only for a limited time. Time Breaker offer will last to next Wednesday (23rd), Carcassonne until the following Sunday (27th) and Bang! until Wednesday the 30th.
How to get more content to Dized?
It's probably safe to say we all want more content into Dized, the sooner the better. You can help us with this.
The Dized tools are designed to scale well for mass usage, but with our small team it's a challenge trying to approach all the publishers at once. We're doing our best at this front, and if publishers also hear from their players that content is wanted, it's going to move them into the content creation phase a lot quicker.
You can help us with these simple actions:
Let the publisher know, if there is a game you would like to see a tutorial for (or other digital content). Just tag them in a Facebook post or drop them a message.
Make sure to download the new content on the Dized app, especially the free ones. All downloads and content usage show valuable traction, making the platform more interesting for the publishers, which again leads to the library growing faster.
Share information about Dized and tell your friends about it too. More eyes on the platform lead to the same outcome: Dized library gets more titles in a shorter period of time.
We wish to build this together with the players, publishers and other industry professionals and we welcome the support of our endeavor in all its forms! We have the tools up and running, let’s get everyone using them!

All the promos have been sent out and the initial schedule was for the packages to arrive in 2-6 weeks. So by now everyone should have received theirs.

We’ve received questions if additional promos will be available after the campaign has been fulfilled. This situation will be evaluated once we get the additional extras back to our office (if any). We will keep you posted!

New and upcoming tutorials
We’ve released a new update for Dized today (3.3.24) that includes three new tutorials. And to celebrate this Carcassonne, Bang! and Team3 can now be added to your Dized account for free! And as a cherry on top, we’ve also now added Time Breaker in the mix of free to download titles. The offer stands for a very limited time, so go grab ‘em while they’re hot and they’re yours to keep.
New tutorials in the app!
We have been heavily involved with these first tutorials published on Dized, though Team3 is actually already built by the publisher themselves. As time progresses, publishers will take over the majority of the content creation. This process will take some time as publishers need to learn the tools, but in any case the speed of new content will now drastically start to grow. This fall's titles include 7 Wonders (new edition coming out in September!), Fidget Factory, Munchkin, Hello Neighbor: The Secret Neighbor Party Game, Scythe, Cerebria, Reichbusters, King of Tokyo, Potion Explosion and Rising Sun. So keep your eyes open for them!
Needless to say, we’re thrilled and excited to have finally reached this point. It’s been a bumpy road, more than we expected, but we’ve now started to deliver the crazy dream we promised. Thank you Backers and Fans for believing in us, trusting us and for the encouragement that you’ve given and we’ve needed on this long path!

Have you received your promos yet?
Majority of backers have received the promo package by now, but it seems that packages have been arriving up to this week still. So we decided to push the initial schedule for “you should have received yours” to the second week of September.
So if at that point you haven’t gotten your promos, we urge you to contact us at [email protected] and we’ll figure out where the shipment has gone and - if need be - replace the lost package. We will drop another reminder of this in September!

Upcoming Dized tutorials in new Kickstarter projects
Two new Kickstarter campaigns just added a Dized Tutorial to their games and campaigns, and we're thrilled to give them a shoutout!
Tokyo Sidekick is a co-op game from Japanime games and it will include a free Dized Tutorial code in each copy of the game. The campaign is halfway toward its goal and definitely something to keep your eye on. Japanime has been supporting Dized from the beginning and we're sure that you'll be seeing more of their games on the platform going forward.
I think the description in their campaign page sums the game up pretty good: "A cooperative, horror-themed tile-placement game in an otherworldly labyrinth of eternal darkness."
Our friends at Smirk & Dagger have put a Dized tutorial as a stretch goal in the Night Cage campaign, so if the campaign hits its $82,000 stretch goal - which will happen very soon - a tutorial for The Night Cage will be added to Dized, and offered to everyone who backs their campaign.
We are thrilled about both of these projects!
Promosarearriving
A lot of backers have already received their promos, but if you haven't yet - don't worry. As initially estimated, it might take anywhere from 4-6 weeks for promos to arrive in certain areas of the world (including our own office!). If you haven't received yours by mid-August, drop us a message. If you received your promos, but you're missing a promo or the box was damaged during shipment, you can reach us at [email protected].
Progress report
The progress on DIZED is steady and all is looking good! The tools are already at the level where we can create semi-complex tutorials and animations. The tools are, of course, constantly being updated, refined, and gain new features so that in the future we can also support more types of digital content and add-ons!
There's a passionate group of content creators and publishers working on several projects already. Training material is being developed alongside the tools and we're holding online seminars to make sure our content creators are up to speed. On top of these updates, we're soon adding at least 3 new tutorials to the Dized library. They're currently already in review with their publishers or are in the final stages of completion.

A quick update on the promo items

Hey backers!
Just a quick update this time regarding the promo items. We've received a lot of questions and we've been pending answers from the fulfillment company as well. But we just got some more info so I'll share it with you too.
- As of today 98% of the packages have left the facility and the major bulk already left in June. Some lucky backers in Asia, EU and U.S. have already received theirs :) So in a matter of days, all packages should be on their way.
- There might be some packages that don't have tracking, so don't worry if you didn't receive one via email.
- If you're missing promos from the packages, please contact our support and we can hook you up with a replacement. And if your promos haven't arrived by the mid to end of August, let us know and we'll look in to it!
Promos arrived safe and sound for a backer in France!
We'll post a bigger update related to Dized in a couple of weeks, stay tuned!

New Version of Dized Is Available for Both Android and iOS!
The latest version of Dized (3.3.20) was published today for both platforms: iOS and Android. Go ahead and give it a go and please let us know if you run into any issues. This latest version supports content created with the new Dized tools and allows backers to use credits to access paid content.
EDIT: It's possible to get a black screen issue after the install. In this case just uninstall (delete) the app and install it again. In some cases clearing the cache works too.
Credits Are Now Usable
Credits acquired from the Dized crowdfunding campaigns now allow you to purchase content instead of using the in-app purchase option. You can try this already with the Time Breaker Tutorial and if you do, we'd love to hear what you think of the first tool made tutorial! This will help us and others to create great tutorials in the future too.
In order to use credits, you need to sign into your account. Now you should see how many credits you have. (All backers should have received a credit redeem code earlier, but if you haven't please contact our support.) After signing in you can access the paid content, Time Breaker tutorial at the moment. When you do, the app should prompt an option to get the content by using a credit, or buy it as an in-app purchase (see below image).
As you might recall, one credit is good for either purchasing content to keep, or to get a month's subscription to all the content in Dized. However, the subscription feature is not yet available and will be introduced once we get more content into the library.
Upcoming tutorials
Speaking of tutorials in the future, currently Dized is already working on several, such as: Carcassonne, Bang!, 7 Wonders, Fidget Factory, Munchkin, Fluxx and Potion Explosion. Expected release date for this bunch alone is this summer. And yes, before you ask, some of the other this year's releases include Scythe and Rising Sun!
That is of course not all, as on top of these there are already several other projects being worked on by publishers and we'll announce those once the publishers give us the permission to do so.
More publishers are getting in to the tools
The tools have progressed with vast strides in the past weeks and we’re opening up the access to the next set of publishers within June and July. Result of this is that from this point on there will be constant new releases of content in Dized! This is an excellent time for publishers to drop us a message ([email protected]) to get their titles into Dized!
Fulfillment has started
After several unfortunate delays the fulfillment for the Kickstarter promos has begun and it will keep going for the next month or so. Please note that due to previously mentioned shipping method issues not all packages are going to leave at once. However, it currently looks like all packages will be under way by the end of June. Shipment will start with Asia and Australia, and we'll keep you updated once we know more about which countries shipments are leaving and when!
